a few pics from the weekend

Hanging out on the deck on Friday.

Playing with his new favorite toy... well, it's a tie between this and my cell phone.

With Aunt Sarah at Gabe's spot on Saturday.

Looking at the ducks with Mommy.

Daddy corralling the ducks for Jonah's viewing pleasure.

Playing with Gabe's flowers.

*******************************
Nothing much new here today. We did get to go to the mall, and for those of you who care, I got a GREAT pair of brown pants - exactly what I wanted - for $21.00 at Eddie Bauer. That's what I'm talkin' about.
*******************************
But really, who cares about brown pants? I'm so pumped about Stellan's successful ablation I'm literally all giddy and fluttery inside. I don't know about you, but I spent most of the day F5 refreshing Jennifer's twitter page every free moment I got. Still praying for the gunk in his lungs and his fever, but man, oh man, GOD IS AWESOME. I knew He was still in the miracle business. HOORAY!

No kiddin' about the Stellan news! I was doing the SAME thing as you all day long... and there were tears a'flowing in this house (and a fair amount of "whoo hoo"ing and "yee haw"ing as well) when we saw the update! :)

Love from TX!

The only two blogs I keep up with are you and MckMama. (I actually found her when you mentioned her once...yes I was with you first). I have been sick today, so I got to keep up with all the updates. I am so happy that our prayers are answered and this is God's will for little Stellan. God is good! Still praying for you and Jonah too! :)

Love the pictures...especially the one of Matt chasing the ducks for Jonah. Love for your baby makes you do all sorts of crazy stuff just to make them happy :)

I too am so happy about Stellan's news. I had my phone on me all day getting the Tweets and prayed like crazy. It's so awesome to see God step in in such a big way and show us just how great He is! Stellan and Jonah are my 2 little men that I constantly pray for. I have faith that God is going to do a big miracle for Jonah as well!

I too had my eyes glued to her blog all day. What a wonderful outcome!

On a separate note, I LOVE Eddie Bauer. I have an addiction, really. In fact, I'm waiting in great anticipation for my next order to arrive in the mail.

Great pictures of Jonah!

I first stumbled upon MckMama after you mentioned her--and my first thought was "I can't get involved with following another blog--my brain will explode!" But I've found MckMama's posts thoughtful and honest, and I couldn't help getting sucked into Stellan's story, too! I was elated to hear the news, also!

I love your pictures--something about the way Jonah's hair is in the first picture makes him look very grown-up. And the fall flowers for Gabe's spot are beautiful.

Jonah seemed to really enjoy the ducks. Yay for brown pants! I think your style works just fine. Nothing that needs excessive updating or change. Casual is good when you're a mom!

Love the new pictures...I always love me some Jonah and some Stellan! I too was obsessed with Mcmama's Blog today and yesterday and probably since she blogged about needing to go to Boston again. I was so scared earlier today but I knew God was there the whole time no matter what. God has been so good to that family, yours and mine.

Praying for Jonah to keep up the weight gain and keep eating!

Me too! I was refreshing my Facebook for Jennifer's status all day! I am so thankful his surgery went well. Wow, what a miracle.

Noah and I pray everyday for that little man and yours too (as well as the mommies).

And what's up with the cell phones and remotes? My baby man is so into them too!

Great pics as always of sweet Jonah! God is definitely still in the miracle business and I can't wait for Jonah to get his! I am so excited for Stellan. We pray for baby Stellan and baby Jonah and baby Tripp at our house EVERY night! God has BIG plans for all three of these sweet little boys.

I too was keeping tabs on Stellen. What great news.

I super care about the brown pants. I am off to search for a navy blue pair tomorrow - keep your fingers crossed!

The pics are great. Looked like a beautiful day to be out with your sweet family.

Same here with the Stellan watch yesterday. God is great!

I think every remote & cell phone in my house have little teeth marks from my daughter. I tried to keep them away due to the fact that they are all over the floor, rolling around in purses & everywhere else, but she is my third, and you begin to let some things slide!

I loved the pics of Jonah this weekend & the fact that you found the pants you wanted. I am super picky about pants and have the worst time finding a good pair.

WHOA!!!!! For some strange reason I happen to go check out MckMamma's Blog yesterday at lunch which I haven't done in a long time. I was very surprised to read about Stellan's condition and the emergency surgery about to take place. I prayed like crazy for that little guy yesterday and last night...and man oh man was I blown away by the outcome. It does a soul good to see God working the way he did with Stellan!!!!!

what is it with kids and electronics...they always want it. I have 3 boys...the youngest one isn't old enough to be in that stage yet, but the older two totally loved all things forbidden, when it came to remotes, phones, keys, etc. My husband and I thought we were going to be smart and give him one of our old cell phones. We were even going to keep it charged so it would light up just like our real phones. Well, essentially it was a real phone. Anyway I guess because we didn't want "his"phone b/c it wasn't "real", neither did he so that plan bombed. Anyway, love your blog...stalk it daily...love jonah...love it love it love it!

Jonah,
Buddy, you are so handsome... and turning into a little man! I just love your hair and can't wait until Tripp grows some hair so I can fix it too! I told Tripp when he turns a year old and we get rid of all these baby difficulties, we are going to come visit you in North Carolina! Maybe you guys can go see the ducks and play together. I think it will be so much fun! Plus I really want to meet your mommy.. I think we could be good friends :) Love you buddy! Hang in there and keep up the good work. You are such a trooper!
Love, Courtney Roth (Tripp's Mommy)
