photography workshop march 5th in concord

For those of you who live around here and are interested in a photography workshop, Amber (http://amberherlocker.com) is offering another one on March 5th in downtown Concord (only an hour from Winston-Salem). If you are interested, sign up for the newsletter HERE so you can find out about registration. I think early bird registration ($125) opened today, but is only good for the first five registrants. The class has 15 spots, and the regular price is $150.

The location was great, lunch is provided, and it's a basic, easy to understand, fun workshop for those of you who have a DSLR and just haven't taken the time (or had the brain power, in my case) to figure it out. You can register HERE but make sure you sign up for the newsletter too in case you miss out on Early Bird. You'll need to know when regular registration opens.

You can see Amber's professional site HERE and her photography blog HERE. I promise you'll have a great day and learn a ton! Happy snapping! (or shooting with fine pieces of glass (or something) as we like to say in the biz.)

this is where i scream at the injustice of living 5 hours away from Concord and being broke. :(
oh well, i'll have to console myself with the fact that you'll post pretty pics!

I got the email from her today, and forwarded it to my hubby as an excellent birthday idea. **fingers crossed**

Just stopping in to say "hello"! I've been a "lurker" for some time now, so long actually that I can't even remember how or where I ran across your blog! :) I just wanted to tell you that you have one of the most adorable little boys I've ever seen!!! I've enjoyed following your journey and cried for your sweet son and the pain he must endure daily. I just cannot imagine and yet he seems happy and quite the cheerful little guy dispite his daily inflictions. I've enjoyed your pictures and as another person who loves taking pictures and learning all things photography, I look forward to seeing your future pictures!

Thanks for the information. I got the last early bird ticket and it's all thanks to you, Patrice! I've followed your blog for a year or two. I found it while doing a search for something else on the Winston Salem Journal website and I think there was an article in there about your family and I looked up your blog. Anyway, thanks so much. I just got a new camera for Christmas and I haven't a clue on how to use it!!
