cutie in a high chair

I know I have some explaining to do... or at least some explaining I want to do, but not tonight. Tonight, I'm tired.

I'll just leave you with this cutie patootie (who happens to be lookin' a little cross-eyed in this pic)...

He has croup again or at least a rough cold. We're watching him close, but trying not to do the steroids if we can help it (seeing as how they made him Grouchy McFussy Pants the last time). He felt warm to me tonight but wouldn't allow me to take his temperature so I just don't know. He's so mucusy and gaggy and coughing so much that he's puked his lunch and dinner. Pedialyte in the pump tonight. Poor buddy. It's hard when they feel extra crummy and you can't do anything about it.

He's still really cute though.

Sorry he's not feeling well. Hope he feels better soon.

I've been following your blog for quite awhile but don't ususlly commnent. I have to say, he is such a cutie! And he looks so happy!

I'm sure you aleady know but for Croupe sitting in the bath room with the hot shower ruinning really helps. Get it as hot and steamy as you can and just sit in there with him. The moisture and steam do wonders for the cough.

Hope the little guy feels better soon.

Patrice - ask your doctor about Xoponex. It is the (non-steroid) breathing treatment that we use with Carson whenever he gets croupy/wheezy, etc.

Aww croup is no fun!! Hang in there and I hope Jonah feels better soon.

I am curious if Jonah is talking or saying words? My son is just a few weeks younger then Jonah and only says "hi" or "hi dad".. that's about it. The Dr. is of course worried and questions me every time. I just think he'll talk when he wants to. I know he understands a lot. He does sign language that he learned at daycare which is adorable. If you get a minute, let me know if Jonah is talking, just curious to know!! Thanks!!!

Why would you need to explain anything? If anyone should get your "leftovers", it should be the internet world. We'll still be praying! Enjoy your time with Matt and Jonah and the Lord.

Sorry he's feeling crummy :( But yes, still really cute! PS - you should see the crazy eyes my guy gave for a picture at school.

Praying for Mr. McCutie in the high chair. He gets cuter with each day. Praying for the mess to "be gone" (think MacBeth!). Thinking of you and your entire family. Jennifer of Southeastern, NC (where we had a TOTAL of 21.5 inches of rain this week, and not a bit in the house!)

You owe no explanation to anyone but you, Matt and God. We are priviledged to have the "leftovers".

Did you touch-up this picture a lot? His face looks SO good, and you can really see "him".

Keep it balanced!

Poor little guy! Ashton just got over having croup. It is a nasty bug. I hope he gets over it soon and without having to get a shot.
What a sweetie pie!
Praying for Jonah and your family.
