i hate it when God has to Smack me in the head... I wish I could just learn to listen without the hittin LOL
glad your "meredith" friends could be there for ya today patrice ;) by the way... i enjoyed your other meredith friend's post... kicked my butt. love ya my friend! and this song just makes me shake inside.

oh my goodness just posted the JJ HELLER song on my facebook page! THAT.IS.SO.AWESOME! I must have the CD now....thanks for sharing...I am having the same kind of day...but like Meredith was blaming everyone else for my funk and attitude! Thanks!
well on a completely unspiritual note. i think jj totally rocks that haircut and i wish i could and not look like an ad for "HUSKY" jeans for adolescent boys.
oh and i love her song too. really really good stuff.
Thanks for posting this.. I spent most of the day today alternating between feeling sorry for myself and for my daughter and being just plain angry. Beautiful song with lyrics that I really needed to hear tonight.lettersformarley.blogspot.com
I am crying. This is exactly what I needed to hear. We are waiting for my husband (who graduated in May) to find a teaching position here (or anywhere) so that I can stay home with our twin sons. The thought of leaving them yet again when school starts is breaking my very heart. I just have to let go and remember that I, too, am in His hands.Thank you so much for sharing your heart.
Thank you for sharing both Merediths' posts, Patrice. I love JJ Heller's song and the other post dealt precisely with what I'm dealing with right now in my own life. It's so nice to find things in common in this big old world of blogging. I'm continuing to pray for Jonah and your family. :)
thanks, awesome. :)
That is my FAVORITE song right now. LOVE it. In fact, M, my four year old, sings it along with me. Just last week she said, "Mama, did you know that God's hands are bigger than Mocha's paws (our lab that just passed away)?)"
Great talent! I'm with "The Smittys" on the haircut thing :)
I think God must be trying to send me a message as well. I had never heard this song before nor had I heard of JJ Heller although I listen to Christian radio. However, in the last couple of days I've heard it twice. On here and the other was a video done by a young girl I used to teach (when she was 3!). She has CP, and is one of the most amazing kids that I know. Here is the video she and a friend created: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uux_6huqbGE
