photos from yesterday

I put Jonah down on this blanket yesterday morning, perpendicular to how he's lying in this picture (with his feet to the left of the photo), in the center of the blanket. I came back thirty seconds later, and this is what I found.

It's amazing what babies can do in only 30 seconds....welcome to the next phase of parenting: needing eyes in the back of your head ;-)

Your Jonah is absolutely adorable, I just want to squeeze - his wonderful personality comes through in all the pictures, crazy eyes, etc. I stop by your site everyday to check on "what Jonah is up to now!"....

He looks so proud of himself! And just in case you weren't already aware, you're life as you know it is now officially over :) No more leaving Jonah for a short period of time because he is going to be getting into trouble!

His forehead looks AMAZING! He is such a beautiful boy! And good luck with that mobility :)

Oh those eyes...they are to die for. I was going to ask. Obviously he gets the blisters on his face because he rubs it...but with all the rolling around and rubbing on the back of his head....it doesnt seem that his head gets many blisters. Are there parts of his skin that are more hearty then others? Just wondering.

Someone figured out how to roll. and someone is very proud of it too. =D

In the second picture, it looks like he's thinking, "See? You didn't know what I was capable of. I'm quite proud of myself." Way to go, Jonah! You are most precious and smart!

I haven't commented in a while because I was on vacation with no internet. It was driving me crazy not to check on sweet Jonah every night and it was the first thing I did when I got home. :) My daughter who just turned 2 looks at the pictures with me and says, "There's Jonah! He's so cute!" Maybe a future bf? :) Anyway, He is soooooo cute! I just wanted you to know that I'm especially thinking about you and praying for you today. I know that Gabe is sending you a kiss from Heaven until he can in person someday. I'm so glad you have been blessed with adorable Jonah to maybe just slightly lessen the pain. Wish I was closer so I could take you to chickfila and target today!

ADORABLE!!!! Way to go Jonah!!

Hey! That's mobility! That's how kids get around at first...kicking their legs. May not be what you envisioned, but he's working on it and having fun. Eli didn't crawl for a long time. He would be in a sitting position and would spin himself around with his feet in circles to get where he wanted to go. I've also seen kids in sitting position pull themselves forward with their feet. Kind of crazy, but they do what works for them and what they know.

I just love the pictures. I think his face in general looks great. He still has some blisters but still, it does not look bad at all. Way to go on kicking your way to roll over. Anyway you can do it, keep up the good work. I also pray that today is a nap day for Jonah so you can rest or maybe get things done that you can not when he is up. Oh how I just love his pictures. The video you posted before was so cute. It was not boring for me watch.
