birthday party pics

Jonah sleeping. He slept the whole way there (45 minutes) and most of the time while we were there.

Jonah's friend, Mason, who every time he sees Jonah, points and says "Baby Jonah."
Maddie, the birthday girl.

My favorite of the day.

Jonah's friend, Miller, who was pretending to be shy.
Jonah's friend, Jude. We get to hang out with him and his awesome parents on Saturday night.

Jonah... still sleeping...
Our family (still loving that word)... with Jonah... still sleeping...

Could I really be first on this popular blog??? Wow...really great pictures...poor Jonah's sweet face, my heart aches to see all those rough spots. Sending gentle kisses through the air to heal those blisters. I'm glad you were able to enjoy the party and the birthday girl is one sweet princess. Hugs to your tiny prince and I'll continue to pray so hard for clearer skin in the days ahead for him.

The one thing that really helped us with our son who was born with his rectum to small and was constipated all the time was Miralax. It is now over the counter and it is a miracle! It keeps him from not getting plugged up to begin with. That could definitely effect his eating. Our Son has been on it and it is not habit forming and could help Jonah. Our son started it when he was just days old.

Oh, these are terrific pictures! Maddie is certainly a cutie - she looks like she enjoyed her party!

I always love pics of sleeping babies, and especially Jonah. Not that I don't LOVE seeing THOSE EYES looking at me, but when I see him sleeping I think he must be at peace, and that even if he's hurting he at least feels safe and secure. You are such a sweet family!!

Can't wait to see Jonah's 1st b-day pics on here!

Hope you have a wonderful Friday, and that the Quest to De-Aquaphor will be successful (if it hasn't been already). Am praying as always!

Love,
Laura

PS - showed Caroline the pictures of Giant Jonah. She said to tell you that he is "very cute!"

Precious pictures and I think Jonah had the right idea. Sleep, sleep, sleep. He was just making it possible for Mommy and Daddy to have a really good time at the party.

Love you all to Heaven and back,
Mimmy

That picture of Maddie smiling is stinkin' adorable. Thanks for posting the shots you got of Jude - that last face is totally Shawn. 100% unimpressed with the world around him. :) I'm glad Jonah slept for you guys for most of the party and you were able to enjoy yourselves!

Great pictures, Patrice! He looks really sacked out, which at that age is the best way to enjoy a birthday party (for you anyway!).

Patrice,
Great photos of the babies at the party. I am slightly partial to the ones of Maddie (love that baby) but all of the babies were just adorable that day. And Jonah... well, he was perfect. I am so glad you all were able to be a part of the celebration.
I don't know anything about getting stains out of diapers, but is there a customer service number for Aquaphor that you could call for advice? Maybe they can give you a method that works.

great pictures! It's so great you are getting FAMILY pictures, even though I think several of those are moments with you and Matt alongside Jonah's carseat/carrier.

I'm really glad you were able to get out and enjoy the party.

YAY family picture! Obviously Jonah partied like a rockstar! (evident from his "passed outedness"... lol)

I just stumbled upon your blog. What a beautiful boy Jonah is. I wanted you to know I have added your blog to my favorites and I will keep checking in on that sweet little guy. My prayers are with you. God is amazing and miracles happen. Keep your faith and trust in His plan.

Our daughter Ellie is 6. 16 months ago she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Her odds of beating the cancer were not in her favor. We turned to God. I have never felt the peace, strength and been so encouraged in my entire life. It's the first time I have ever truly had a pure heart when asking for mercy for my daughter. We have experienced many signs. The biggest being an image of Jesus that appeared in our home. I have a photo on Ellie's site if you are interested in seeing it. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/ellie1

Ellie is now cancer free. We are enjoying each day and appreciation for life is like we have never known. God is good.

Jonah is a true angel and through him so many will see the beauty of life.

God Bless,
Colleen Bouchard

What great pictures! Jonah is such a cute boy- he looks so peaceful when he's sleeping. I'm so glad he got some good rest.

This is totally going to sound weird...I'm aware of that, but I'm going to tell you anyways. ;)
I've been following your blog for a couple of months- and last night, well, this morning really, I woke up just as the sun was coming up and immediately thought of you and Jonah. I started praying for your family and couldn't sleep for a couple of hours after that.

I just want you to know how much the Lord loves you and your Jonah. I know you know- but it is good to be reminded.
Still praying...

love,
ebe

Ok, too cute!! Loving the pictures. I have to say this...Jude is the spitting image of his daddy!! Everytime I see him it blows my mind!

Looks like the party was just TOO exciting for Jonah though! Glad you got to go and be with all your friends!
