letter to jonah

If you haven't come across it already, please head over to Matt's Aunt Katherine's blog to read this beautiful letter to Jonah. I cried pretty much the whole way through it, so you may want to grab your kleenex, you know, if you're a complete emotional psycho freak tenderhearted like I am.

Plus, Katherine can pretty much write the socks off anybody, so you'll enjoy being there. Just what we all need, right?... one more blog to get hooked on. Happy stalking!

You're right - the letter to Jonah is beautiful, as is the picture of the kids and Gabe's rainbow :)

Katherine wasn't exaggerating about your leading by example and encouraging others to take a second (or maybe first) look at faith and the power of prayer. It usually takes a hefty assignment to wake some (of us) up. God knows exactly what He's doing, as you already know!

Hugs and prayers from the NC mountains -
Helen/'Lucy'
(mom to angel Jeffrey)

PS - Katherine's writing is terrific, but don't sell yourself short!!!

That's one powerful letter...I'm sitting here wiping away a tear or two myself. (Okay, who am I kidding...we all know I'm the emotionaly basket-case at work, LOL...there's more than a couple of tears.) Anyway, thanks for sharing the letter...it was beautiful, and I can't wait for a year from now to hopefully see Jonah standing in that line-up looking out at the ocean....

Oh my, that is amazing... Praying right now that dressing changes are going well for you at this moment!

Just realized dressing changes should be happening right now, said a prayer for each of you. Hoping your day at home has been a peaceful one physically and emotionally. I read this letter a couple of days after she wrote it. It touched me very much and left such a sweet impression of your family in my thoughts. I am praying for Jonah's skin, breathing, eating and overall well being. For your emotional and physical strength as well. I know how tiring it is taking care of a newborn and can't imagine adding in the special care Jonah needs on top of it. He is such a sweet baby and I am praying for each of you daily. Much love from my heart to yours, Matt's and sweet Jonah's.

What a beautiful letter and what a beautiful picture. It oh so reminds me of my family on the beach.

I have been following your blog, and pray daily for your sweet little boy and also for the two of you.

You do not know me but I feel that I know your family. You have been through much.

Know that I am praying and will continue to pray for you all.
God is good and will guide you through each day.
