9:30 am - Jonah is in recovery. Everything went well! Patrice and Matt are with him right now.
8:45 am Finshing up the surgery. Everything has gone very well. Patrice just went back to the OR to re-wrap Jonah.
7:50 am - Jonah is successfully (and safely as far as we know) intubated, with leads, pulse ox, and IV EB-safely secured. I (Patrice) was back in the OR for all of that, but sat in the corner and didn't watch for intubation. Everything looks really good so far, and I assume surgery has just started. Please continue to be in prayer for sweet Jonah. We sure do love that kid.

My own little Jonah (15 months) and I are praying for your Jonut! We pray that he pulls through like a champ and bounces right back from surgery! The procedure will be a complete success and he will heal fast. We will keep checking in for updates.

Had Jonah's surgery on my calendar and praying for him, his safety, the medical team (wisdom to use the knowledge God has given) and for peace for the two of you. Will keep an eye out to see how to pray specifically.

GOD IS SO AWESOME!!!!!!!! I have been checking here every 10 minutes & praying the entire time for that sweet boy & for you & Matt and everyone involved. Praise God that the surgery is done...now praying he will heal quickly & go home for some fun.

Thanks for the update. I have been checking the blog every once in awhile. Thank God everything went so well. Will continue the prayers until Jonah is safely home. The hospital is not a good place for these EB kids. Love that little guy!!!!!! Love Leah's Nana

So thankful sugery is over and all is well. Now to pray specifically for the recovery, his safety from germs etc while in the hospital. So glad to know the first thing he will see when he wakes up is his loving momma and daddy. Stay strong little Jonah, mom and dad!
