jonah's first walk

Last Tuesday, we got to take Jonah for his first walk. (Isn't that crazy that we've never been able to take him for a walk?) Since I was able to get dressing change done earlier in the day, we were able to go out around 7:30 or 8:00 when it was a little cooler.

Jonah seemed to really enjoy it, and I LOVED getting outside. Summer is our enemy, but I'm hoping the evenings will be cool enough we can get out some. I'm looking forward to breezy evenings at the beach. Maybe Jonah will be able to get out then.

Here are some pictures from our walk.

What a great day for a walk! So glad you were able to get out as a family. Jonah looked like he had a ball!

I can't believe how big Jonah's getting after just 4 months - he's already losing that "teeny baby" look, and you can see personality in his sweet face!

Hope you all have a great week- am continuing to pray.

Love from TX!

It looks like Jonah wasn't the only one enjoying the walk! It was so nice finally getting to meet Jonah, you and Matt today at the Loop.

Continuing to pray everyday for Jonah and his special mommy and daddy.

I am always in awe of you, Matt and that sweet baby.
Jonah's EYES - beautiful and so full of love for his mommy and daddy. Everyday I read your blog and I am reminded of all the things I take for granted and I continue to pray for healing and strength for your son and your family.

Blessings -

Please try the honey. The little girl on the morning show looked like she has as many places as Jonah and she was clearing up and was going to be able to go to reg. school this fall. just put a little on his hand or arm and see if it helps.

just as its not safe to feed infants under the age of 1 honey, its not safe to use it on the skin either, unfortunately. I know a lot older kids have very good luck with the honey.

Great to see you all this morning, at church
Jonah, I loved your Blog on Saturday, you are such a special little man baby.
Only one week, and you will be at the beach, with lots of your family, so you better get ready for a lot of face smashing and kissing.

Love to you all

Patrice - I'm commenting on both of your most recent posts here.

When you post "for" Jonah, your writing is just so precious. You really have to write a book about his life either at the end of his first few months or maybe after the first year. Better yet, maybe you could do a series of the first year by months. You've got enough information in posts to compile it and I know it would be a best seller.

The pictures of him are just precious. He gets cuter (or should I say more handsome) every day.

Take care, God bless, and I love you all to Heaven and back.

Jonah looks so content in that carseat for his walk. I take my 10 month old on walks sometimes when she is really fussy and it calms her a lot. We have the same problem with the heat. Atlanta is getting brutal right now!

Great pictures - Jonah is cute as a button! I love the pictures where he is looking up at you and Matt. Nothing like that mother/son or father/son connection!!!

Hugs!

Aren't walks wonderful? They are usually the only thing that will calm down my cranky 10 month old girls when we've just had dinner, but it's too early for bed. It would be nicer if it was a little cooler out, but it's better than being cooped up inside.
