Yeah for Jonah!!!!! I had a little one that was jaundice and at the same time I was nursing and taking an iron supplement. Not a good combination! I was never so glad to see poop in my life! Isn't it funny what Mommies get excited about? :)
Thank you for not taking a picture! And hooray for poop.!!!!!!!!!1 Especially if I don't have to change it; though I will if mommy isn't home. Nana Debbie to 8 almost 9 little ones
Yay I'm glad Jonah pooped, and I am sure he is too! Hey be thinking about several dates, you would like Stacey and I to come....if you still would like for us to do that. Just let me know! It's off to the Baptist for me, it's still not the same without him there, even though I am glad he's not!
Even breast babies do this sometimes. I remember when Jonathan was tiny, he didn't go for a week. Matt's mom came to visit and finally Jonathan started pooping. Matt's mom was changing him, and the poop kept flowing. It was horrendously humorous! We finally just stuck a towel under him until it stopped. 12 years later it still cracks me up.
Can I just say. You guys are truly amazing parents. Some of us, can and will never understand what each day brings you. But you love for you son is so evident.
Yes, I have prayed for poop before. More than once! Was happy to do so again! Anytime! So glad that he got the relief he needs! And you too! Praying for you! Jennifer in Southeast, NC
My husband and I use to roll our eyes every time my sister would start talking about my neices poop or lack of poop. I specifically remember driving in the car swearing up and down that we would NEVER talk about our unborn child's poop functions with ANYONE. The laugh was on us as it seems to be a daily topic of conversation, around the dining no less!!
Oh, and get use to "poop" talk with a little guy! Between my husband and 2 sons, there is always poop/fart noise or joke going on! :)
You know when just the right song comes on in your car, just as you are to open your door and go to work....this was me this morning at 0730 and I prayed sooooo hard with tears streaming as I felt God was going to answer this prayer!! Yah for poop
I was just watching the news and a story about a girl here in Tampa that has EB was on, and it talked about how they treated her wounds with honey...thought you might be interested in the story.
I don't know if anyone else suggested it, but pear juice works wonderful. I kid you not. Even just a tablespoon or so does wonders at that size. Great that he was able to finaly go!
I was hoping my daughter would poop yesterday. It had been too many days. She comes yelling last night from the bathroom. Come here, come here. (She's 4). I was putting our younger son to bed. So later I asked her, "I heard you had a big huge poop." She said, "no mom. It wasn't huge. It was an explosion."
It is SO wonderful to see you doing such regular mommy things like worrying about poop! Weren't you surprised at all the moms who could completely relate?! Welcome to the club, Patrice!! God bless
Look how cute he is! Both my daughters had A LOT of trouble pooping in their first year, and my daughter Chloe still has a lot of trouble, and she is almost 3. Glad he had some relief!
yey for Jonah!! I know that happened with my son when he was 3 mos old. He was breastfed too and didn't poop for like 3 days. Gave him some apple juice and by the next day the flood gates opened!!
I was the peds supervisor for a brother/sister that have EB. They are very happy kids with very positive outlook that go to school. They come home for their daily dressing changes. Thanks for sharing your story.
I'm in a new place in Ukraine and am staying a lot busier, so I've fallen behind on your blog, but I am still praying for your little boy. Love and God give you all strength.

Too funny!
My husband did not want to name our son "Cooper" because he was afraid what other kids would call him.
If only he knew what a prolific "pooper" he would be.
Oh, the things Moms talk about. Glad to see that you are able to blog about the funny things.
Mommies and Nani's (grandma's) everywhere are sharing your "poop" Joy! Yeah Jonah!
Hugs and prayers from Texas
