we have poopage

Excuse me for not taking a picture...

He went from whiny, fussy, uncomfortable, red-faced, struggling to...

...almost instantaneously.
Hooray for relief!

Yeah for Jonah!!!!! I had a little one that was jaundice and at the same time I was nursing and taking an iron supplement. Not a good combination! I was never so glad to see poop in my life! Isn't it funny what Mommies get excited about? :)

Yay I'm glad Jonah pooped, and I am sure he is too! Hey be thinking about several dates, you would like Stacey and I to come....if you still would like for us to do that. Just let me know! It's off to the Baptist for me, it's still not the same without him there, even though I am glad he's not!

Even breast babies do this sometimes. I remember when Jonathan was tiny, he didn't go for a week. Matt's mom came to visit and finally Jonathan started pooping. Matt's mom was changing him, and the poop kept flowing. It was horrendously humorous! We finally just stuck a towel under him until it stopped. 12 years later it still cracks me up.

Too funny!

My husband did not want to name our son "Cooper" because he was afraid what other kids would call him.

If only he knew what a prolific "pooper" he would be.

Oh, the things Moms talk about. Glad to see that you are able to blog about the funny things.

Mommies and Nani's (grandma's) everywhere are sharing your "poop" Joy! Yeah Jonah!

Gotta love the poop!
:)

My husband and I use to roll our eyes every time my sister would start talking about my neices poop or lack of poop. I specifically remember driving in the car swearing up and down that we would NEVER talk about our unborn child's poop functions with ANYONE. The laugh was on us as it seems to be a daily topic of conversation, around the dining no less!!

Oh, and get use to "poop" talk with a little guy! Between my husband and 2 sons, there is always poop/fart noise or joke going on!

I don't know if anyone else suggested it, but pear juice works wonderful. I kid you not. Even just a tablespoon or so does wonders at that size.
Great that he was able to finaly go!

I was hoping my daughter would poop yesterday. It had been too many days. She comes yelling last night from the bathroom. Come here, come here. (She's 4). I was putting our younger son to bed. So later I asked her, "I heard you had a big huge poop." She said, "no mom. It wasn't huge. It was an explosion."

Poop is so important and also so funny.

Praying for your sweet family.

yey for Jonah!! I know that happened with my son when he was 3 mos old. He was breastfed too and didn't poop for like 3 days. Gave him some apple juice and by the next day the flood gates opened!!

I was the peds supervisor for a brother/sister that have EB. They are very happy kids with very positive outlook that go to school. They come home for their daily dressing changes.
Thanks for sharing your story.
