jonah - thursday, march 26th

Thank you for praying. Jonah's dressing change went FANTASTIC tonight! He did not utter a peep and slept peacefully through the whole thing. I prayed over him before we started, that God would send his angels to watch over him and that He would give him peace and comfort. And I have a funny feeling you guys were praying that very same thing. Thank you for caring about our sweet boy and lifting him up to the Father.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust..." He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart... For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways... "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. - Psalm 91:1-2, 4, 11, 14

What a blessing! I've been praying for him all day. I woke up three times during the night last night, too, and prayed for him before I fell back asleep. Jonah has done more for my prayer life in his month on Earth than anyone has done in a long time. :) What a little wonder he is. Love you all.

That is great news. Ellen goes to bed around 7:00 (Central) so I always say a special prayer for Jonah as I put her down... knowing it is 8:00 there and you are probably doing the dressing change at that same moment. We are thinking about you constantly.

Though I have never met you I feel that I know you. A friend of mine at church sent me an e-mail about Jonah and the link to your blog. The first time I visited your site I fell in love with Jonah. I pray many times daily for you all as I often find myself thinking of Jonah. I know that God has blessed you with the improvements in Jonah's health but I can't tell you how HE has blessed me through you. Please know that you are giving not just receiving blessings.
