From Patrice's sister-in-law

The hospital internet is currently down so Patrice asked me to let you know Jonah remains stable. As soon as the internet is regained at the hospital, you'll get a more detailed account from Mommy, herself. I can tell you that we indeed got snow...even a bit more than what was predicted.

Dear Patrice,

You don't know me, but I stumbled upon your blog via another. I have been keeping your husband and you, Gabe and sweet Jonah in my thoughts and prayers.

May God and Gabe watch over all of you during this most difficult, trying and emotional time.

I am also praying that you may find some peace thru some much-needed sleep!

Thank you so much for keeping us updated. I'm not sure if you understand it or not - but little Jonah now has about a million "Aunts" and "Uncles" out here in cyber space praying, smiling and crying for him!

God bless - and please be sure to remember to take care of yourselves and each other!

Hello, I just want to send you a note of encouragement. I have a 5 year old with Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa. He is all boy. Running and jumping you can see him on this web link in a T.V. interview we did. http://www.wbaltv.com/video/14407133/index.html
We met Erik when was 9 months old. He lived at a rehab hosptial because he was abandonded after his birth. He has been such a wonderful blessing. I didn't start caring for him until he was 9 months so I don't know if I can offer too much newborn help But I know there are others who will be posting who have much help to offer. One thing I will say, If you feel something the Doctors want to do isn't right stand up for Jonah. A lot of Doctors are not informed about EB care and are just guessing. I will keep you in prayer. May God strengthen you and Jonah and give the Doctors wisdom, in Jesus name!

Praying for Jonah's miracle, and for peace, strength and continued hope (that proves well-founded) for you all.

Found you via Brianne and Debi...adding your call to prayer to my blog.

Peace.

I know that we didn't leave things on the best of terms, but when I heard about Jonah I just had to let you know that I am praying for you and your family. I've asked my church to put your family on the prayer list.

Patrice,
Found your blog through another blog. Please know that you and your little one are in my prayers. God sends these angels to teach us a much needed lesson, and in time I am sure that little Jonah's message will be heard loud and clear! We will be praying for mo pain, a good diagnosis, and that he starts eating!

May God bless your family,
Brandi

I came across your blog in a kinda roundabout way and I'm so glad I did. I will be praying for your sweet family, that God will give you peace and comfort (and a good night's sleep) and that He will heal your precious Jonah.

From Diane Mann
Calvary Baptist - wife of Dr. Don Mann, & I work at the Women's Center at Forsyth Hospital)
Dear Patrice & Matt,
God has placed you and little Jonah on my heart, well, since Patsy Justice told us about you in our Monday night Bible study. We started praying before Jonah was born. I was with our friends Susan & Larry Laster in Labor & Delivery when I learned about Jonah's birth last Friday, before the Laster's grandchild was born. Please pray for little Laura & her family as they deal with Spina Bifida. I know you've seen them at the Baptist NICU.

And then I made the connection between Matt and our son Stephen Mann - friends for a long time! And with your parents, Matt, from our former Sunday School class.

Seems every time I turned around, there you were - connections placing you on my heart. I've even prayed for you in the middle of the night as God urged me to do so.

The L&D nurses here at Forsyth are praying for you, and Rebecca Mabe and Mary Watkins, who helped deliver Jonah, just requested your blog link. They are SO concerned. So the love just continues to flow.

I believe God is using Jonah's little life to bring thousands of believers & other friends together. And they are seeing your faith and personal struggle. I'm praying for healing for Jonah and for many to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through this.

May God continue to give you strength and hope.

Love in Christ,
Diane
