This is Jennie Patterson, Amy and Peyton's friend from VA. I just wanted to let you know that our hearts ache for you guys at this time. I can't imagine how many emotions you are dealing with right now. I pray that Jonah will have complete healing soon and that you both can feel the comfort and peace that only God can bring you at this difficult time.

Found you blog via MckMamma's and I just wanted to say that I will definitely be praying for you all! God is able to move mountains, walk on water, AND bring to life that which was dead. Think of all the miraculous things he can do for your child!

Also linking over from MckMama's blog. Know that Jonah's name is being lifted to the Great Physician from here in Indiana.

Jonah's hospital room is a showcase for His Maker. Your faith in the face of suffering cranks up the volume of God’s song.

I came across your blog from Kelly's Korner and wanted to let you know that I am praying for you, your family, and most of all for sweet Jonah.

As I was reading Chill bumps came across me when I read that you delivered at Forsyth & Jonah is at Brenner's. I live in Clemmons & delivered my son at Forsyth this past July. Know that you have another prayer warrior right here close & will do anything to help you guys - even if it's just to bring more Fuddruckers!

Patrice, Jonah is absolutely beautiful. I love the gorgeous tufts of blonde hair on his head. One of my dearest friends had a baby with EB in 2007, and I hope that you will be hearing from her soon. We are praying for your sweet little family and that God would do abundantly and exceedingly beyond what we could hope or imagine (Eph 3:20)

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that I will be praying for your baby. My son is 14 1/2 and was also born with epidermolysis bullosa. He has the recessive dystrophic form. Reading about you and your son feels extremely similar to our situation. I just got home from a walkathon that was held in honor of my son Weston to help find a cure for EB. Hopefully they will find one soon. My name is Dana and my e-mail is dzucha@aol.com you can join ebfriends.ning.com and have a world of info about EB and meet MANY people with it, or who have children with EB. I hope you'll e-mail me if you have any questions or anything. You are a little better off than we were since we didn't have internet that long ago. Also, now they have new kinds of bandages that we didn't have then. I wish the best for you and your baby!

Patrice-
Congratulations! Your son, Jonah is beautiful!
I am a mother of a son with Dominant Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa. My son Jameson was born August 10, 2007 All of this brings me back to the birth of my son. The day he was born was both a joyous day and extremely frightening for our family. The hospital he was born at in texas did not know anything about EB and my son had to be transferred to a larger hospital in Austin, he too was in the NICU for several days, so I can relate to you and your husband during this time. Jameson is doing very well and is a normal 18 month old boy. He wrestles with his daddy and older brother (EB FREE), he is all boy. www.debra.org is the most informative web site dedicated to both promoting research to find new treatments and a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) and providing information and support for people with EB and their families. There are also some wonderful support groups through yahoo that I am a member of, these groups are amazing and there is no question that someone in the group cant answer. A few of the support groups are ebfamilies, ebpep, ebsimplex, and ebzone! These groups have been extremely helpful for me and my family. I want you to know that although we dont know each other I AM HERE FOR YOU IF YOU NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO THAT CAN RELATE OR IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS WHATSOEVER, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME! jenniferpickell@yahoo.com Also You may contact Debra of America with questions or concerns: Debra Nurse Phone: (513) 636-7931
Debra Nurse Email: debranursec@yahoo.com
I have pictures of my children on my blog feel free to visit! God picked you and your husband to be Jonah's parents, what a blessing!

Hey! I just called about an hour ago and got the most recent, but I wanted to say that another blog I read (Kelly's Korner) linked to you on Friday. Between Kelly and MckMamma, you might have traffic problems on your blog! They have mighty, mighty prayer warriors who've been with them for a long time, and I know you guys and Jonah will benefit from having that many more people lifting you up. I had to e-mail Kelly and tell her that it rocked my world to see a link to your blog there, because I don't think you read her (or at least, we've never talked about it). Take care and we'll be back in touch. Love, All of Us

You have a beautiful family! May these days of uncertainty and separation soon be only distant memories as you take home your baby boy to shower with LOVE!!

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
Isaiah 43:2

Hi Williams Family -

Found you via We love MckMama on Facebook. We live just outside of the same town you live in, have a 5 year old son (named Jonah) and will be at Brenner with our 2.5 year old daughter next Monday (3/9). I know that you don't even know me, but know that I'll be praying for you IN THE SAME HOSPITAL in just a few days if you are still there.

Patrice,
Jonah is beautiful! Such a sweet love. He melted my heart immediately. I imagine that this is not the road that you wanted to travel with your sweet love. I want you to know that I am in prayer for Jonah's complete healing, your mother's heart and the ability to be the best caregiver to him with God's strength, and for you husband and extended family.

My sweet baby was diagnosed with leukemia at 3 months of age. She was not suppose to make it through the night. I didn't know if she would live or die, but I held on tight to knowing that God was in control. I pray that for you too, down in your very core.

We had/have a long road, but by God's grace she was able to get into remission, have a umbilical cord transplant at 8 months of age, and now is cancer free.

Every story is different, but I wanted to share hope with you.

In the sweet name of Jesus,
Liz
