at the beach

We went to the beach (Murrell's Inlet) for July 4th week. Matt's family goes for a week every summer. There were 19 adults and 12 kids (ages 6 and under) total (in and out at different times). We had a good time. There were tough moments when the thought of "Gabe's Missing" about overwhelmed me, but the good definitely outweighed the bad. Besides a girls' night out and a guys' night out, we just hung around the beach house. It was awesome. Lots of time on the beach was very relaxing.

The fireworks on Friday night were amazing. You could literally see them in all directions. We watched them for an hour on the ocean side of the house, and then at 10:00 we switched to the front porch and watched them over the inlet. They were the best fireworks I've ever seen.

Here are some pictures. They are all Kim's because I forgot to take out my camera the whole time we were there.
