Me and my belly

Hi all.

I wanted to start a blog, so that when the baby comes, it will be easy to keep everyone updated. I guess before you have kids, you don't really feel you have anything "blog-worthy" to report. It's not true for most people probably, but I feel pretty boring.

Lauren Mason (Thorn) came for a visit this week (Spring Break) and we went out to Tanglewood where she took some pictures of the pregnant me. These are a few of my favorites. Lauren is awesome... Check out her site.

The rest of Spring Break I spent grading papers and washing baby clothes and bassinet sheets etc. Matt and his dad drove up to New York and back over the weekend (24 hours in 2 days...) to get the baby furniture and some more loot from Kim. (Thanks Kim!) Today Matt's parents helped get the nursery ready. It looks great, and I'll post pictures soon. Between Amy and Kim, I feel all set for the baby... materials-wise anyway... I guess you can never feel truly prepared.

And happy news: Sarah is officially back from Nashville. She is moving to Chapel Hill and planning to start at NC State in the fall. We are happy to have her close by!

I am the first commenter! Yay! I just want you to know that I am soliciting comments for my blog. No one ever comments and I feel that I am writing in vain sometimes. Okay enough on my soapbox. Hang in there, you look great! Best wishes and good luck with everything. It is not easy, but it is a fun road to travel. We love you guys and we miss you a lot.
